Isbel Messeguer @metafashion
Born in Sueca, graduated in Fine Arts (1982-87). When she turned 18 years old she moved to Valencia, where she still lives.
She is a multidisciplinary artist that looks for connections between art and life, hers being full of fashion and youthful dreams. She looks for the glamour of the underground in her studies for new projects, where she feels collaboration with other artists is a success. She likes to bring excitement to audiences with her smile and her countryside girl/performer body. She’s happy to teach and happy to live.
Professor in EASD’s Fashion Department, she is honoured to be the only fashion professor-civil servant in the Valencian Community. She teaches Designers’ Collections and Modelling Projects.
She has taught at the Fine Arts School in Valencia, the EASD in Castellón and the EASD in Alcoi.

She started teaching at the School of Fine Arts when she was 23 years old. She also taught Psychology of Perception at the Art History Department after being awarded a grant as Lab Supervisor in the UPV in 1989.
