Declaration of public utility

Declared of public utility as established in article 32.1.e) of Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, regulating the right of association (BOE no. 73, of 26-03-2002),

Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, regulating the Right of Association, recognises the importance of the associative phenomenon as an instrument of integration, participation and representation of the legitimate interests of citizens, and for this purpose contemplates a series of measures to facilitate the development of associations. These promotion measures include the possibility that non-profit-making associations may be declared to be of public utility.

Specifically, article 32 of Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, states that, at the initiative of the corresponding associations, such a declaration requires the concurrence of certain requirements, which essentially consist of their statutory purposes promoting the general interest, the activity does not exclusively benefit the members, the members of the representative bodies who receive remuneration do not do so out of public funds, have adequate means and suitable organisation for the fulfilment of the purposes and are constituted, registered and in operation during the two years prior to the request.

In application of these regulations, and following a request from the interested entities, the respective files have been processed in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1740/2003, of 19 December, on procedures relating to associations of public utility.

These files contain the reports, justifications and other documents that must be submitted by the interested parties, as well as the reports of the competent departments and bodies, including the mandatory report of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function.

Having examined, therefore, the applicable regulations and the documentation involved in the procedures, it is clear that the applicant entities meet all the requirements necessary to obtain the status of public utility.

By virtue thereof, and under the powers provided for in Article 3.7 of Royal Decree 1740/2003, of 19 December, I have:

First.
